The Jack Knives have issued a spirited new standalone single titled “For County,” a rousing celebration of unity and local pride. The track is available now and has already secured a prominent place in the region’s sporting season.
Beginning this year, supporters attending home matches of Orange County Soccer Club will hear “For County” ring out across the stadium each time the club scores a goal. The song was written expressly as a tribute to community, belonging, and the diverse voices that define Orange County, transforming match-day celebrations into a collective sing-along.
Described by the band as “a loud, proud anthem for the people who show up and stand together,” the single captures the spirit of shared experience — the roar of the stands and the sense of something larger than oneself.
Production on the track was handled by Raul Cuellar of Riff Audio, whose work lends the recording its bold and immediate sound. The artwork accompanying the release was created by Caleb Morris, adding a distinct visual identity to the project.
“For County” stands as a special release apart from the band’s latest full-length effort, Into the Night, which remains available across major formats. Together, the recordings underscore The Jack Knives’ continued dedication to energetic songwriting rooted in place and purpose.
