Teenage Bottlerocket Release “Mission To Shred” Session on New 7-Inch

Following the release of their tenth studio album Ready To Roll, Wyoming pop-punk veterans Teenage Bottlerocket are celebrating one of the strongest eras of their 25-year career. Both the album and its advance singles have been widely praised, with many longtime listeners calling this new batch of songs some of the band’s sharpest writing and tightest performances yet.

In the lead-up to the album, the band opted for a creative twist on the traditional music video format. Instead of scripted concepts or narrative visuals, Teenage Bottlerocket recorded a series of “live in the studio” videos inside their own Mission To Shred Studios. These sessions captured raw, energetic performances of three album singles—“She’s the Shit,” “Post Mortem Depression,” and “True To You.”

The videos quickly gained traction online, earning thousands of views on YouTube while the studio versions of the singles surged across streaming platforms. Along with the three singles, the band also tracked the album cut “What To Be For Halloween,” which has rapidly become a seasonal favorite among fans. The band released the performance video for that track on October 31st as a Halloween-day surprise. Collectively, the four recordings highlight contributions from all three of Teenage Bottlerocket’s singer-songwriters.

The excitement surrounding these Mission To Shred performances soon sparked another wave of fan requests—this time for physical copies. With demand continuing to grow, Pirates Press Records has announced that all four performances will finally see a proper release together on a new 7-inch. Intended as a companion to Ready To Roll, the collection showcases a band that remains remarkably tight and focused in a live setting—an energy honed from years on the road and sharpened by a renewed sense of momentum.

The Mission To Shred sessions give fans a chance to hear Teenage Bottlerocket in their most immediate form: no overdubs, no studio polish, just a band playing at full strength. For longtime followers and new listeners alike, the release stands as both a celebration of the group’s longevity and a snapshot of a creative high point more than two decades into their run.
