Noi!se New Album ‘Fate of the Union’ through Pirates Press Records

Pacific Northwest streetpunk veterans NOi!SE will release a new full-length album, Fate of the Union, on April 3 through Pirates Press Records, the band announced this week. The record marks the group’s first studio LP in more than a decade and introduces a reconfigured lineup.

New to the band are bassist Aaron Williams and drummer Mike Parker, forming a new rhythm section. Primary singer and songwriter Matt Henson remains on lead vocals, while guitarists Justin Miller and Kenny Dirkes return to the fold for the first time since the band’s early work, including the Rising Tide EP.

Fate of the Union is NOi!SE’s long-awaited third studio album. In the years since their last LP, the group has remained active, issuing a steady stream of singles, EPs, and compilation tracks later collected on the LP On and On. Despite that output, fans have continued to press for a full-length release of new material, a demand now met with the ten-track collection.

The album delivers a set of hard-hitting yet reflective punk songs, continuing the band’s practice of pairing driving music with lyrics aimed at social awareness and personal accountability. The group has said its goal is not only to energize listeners but to encourage thought, discussion, and action through its writing.

Lead single “Vast Contrast” addresses the influence of power structures and media narratives, urging listeners to think critically about messages that redirect working-class frustration into hatred toward others. The song combines direct lyrical framing with intricate guitar lines and a forward-driving rhythm section.

Another track, “You Versus You,” turns inward, confronting patterns of self-destruction and escapism. Drawing on lived experience, the song explores what it terms the “romanticism of catastrophe,” concluding that personal change begins with conscious choice. The track underscores its message with tightly coordinated playing across the band’s new lineup.

Across the album, NOi!SE moves between the personal and the political, often situating the two in direct conversation. The closing track, “Idle Action,” is a newly recorded version of the band’s signature song, appearing on a studio LP for the first time. Recorded by the current lineup, the track serves as a final call to action, closing the album with renewed urgency.

Fate of the Union will be issued on 12-inch Metallic Silver Vinyl, 12-inch White Vinyl with Red and Blue Splatter, and 12-inch Iridescent Blue Vinyl through Pirates Press Records. A 12-inch Gold Nugget Vinyl edition will be available exclusively in Europe via Coretex Records. The album will be available wherever streetpunk vinyl is sold on April 3, 2026.
