Multi-instrumentalist Mickey Moone has announced the releasing of a new full-length record titled Reptilian Warlock, out Friday, March 13, 2026. The ten-song album will be issued on cassette, compact disc, and vinyl through Niagara Falls independent label AP Records, forming a physical-only collection.

Reptilian Warlock brings together previously released digital tracks from The Murder E.P. alongside newly recorded material, assembled into a unified album designed specifically for physical formats. Moone’s music draws from folk, punk, rockabilly, rock ’n’ roll, and country, a blend he describes as “folk punk with vintage flavours.”
Working as a one-man band based in rural Ontario, Moone’s sound is marked by fuzzy electric guitar, driving rhythms, harmonica lines, and lo-fi Americana textures. The record balances humor and heartbreak, presenting songs that feel both worn-in and immediate, shaped by lived experience and delivered with a wry sense of perspective.
Moone has gained increasing recognition for his live performances, which range from high-energy one-man band sets—playing guitar and drums simultaneously while singing—to stripped-down acoustic appearances. He describes his songwriting process as beginning unplugged, emphasizing melody and lyric before amplification. “If the melody and the poetry are good when you’re unplugged,” Moone explains, “it’ll be good live and wired.”
To support the album’s release, Moone will perform back-to-back Ontario shows. On Friday, March 13, he will appear as a one-man band at Gabba Gabba Cool Club in Hamilton, followed by a Saturday, March 14 performance at Heads & Tails Bar in London, Ontario. Additional live dates are planned as the season progresses, including stops in Barrie, Guelph, Niagara Falls, North Bay, and Toronto.
Reptilian Warlock will be available exclusively on cassette, CD, and vinyl at Moone’s live performances and online via www.mickeymoone.com.
